Order Tracking
Last updated:
Enter your order number and the email address you used at checkout in the form above to see the current status of your Clover Stitch order. Below you will find where to find those details, what each status means, how long each stage usually takes, and what to do if a parcel seems late. Every piece is embroidered to order, so the first few days of an order happen with us before a carrier is involved.
Your order’s timeline
- Hours 0–24: change window — email us if anything needs to be different.
- Business days 1–3: your piece is embroidered, checked and packed.
- Shipping email: sent when the parcel leaves us, with a tracking number if the carrier provides one.
- Business days 7–14 after shipping: typical delivery time to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
- Questions: [email protected], reply within 24 hours on business days.
Where to find your order number
Your order number is in the subject line and at the top of the order confirmation email we sent right after you paid. It is a number such as 1234. If you created an account at checkout, you can also find it under My account, Orders. Use the same email address you entered at checkout; the form only shows an order when the number and email match.
Cannot find the confirmation email?
- Search your inbox for “Clover Stitch” or for cloverstitch.shop.
- Check spam, junk, promotions and updates folders.
- If you used a work or school email, its filters may hold the message.
- If you still cannot find it, email us with your name, the date you ordered and the products, and we will look it up.
What each status means
| Status | What it means | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending payment | The order was started but the payment has not been confirmed | Check that the payment went through; if it failed, place the order again. Nothing is made until payment is confirmed. |
| Processing | Payment received; your piece is being prepared, embroidered and checked (1–3 business days) | Within 24 hours of ordering, email us for any change. After that, wait for the shipping email. |
| On hold | We need to check something, often a personalisation question or an address detail | Look for an email from us and reply so we can continue. |
| Completed / shipped | The parcel has left us and is with the carrier | Use the tracking link in your shipping email if one is included. Typical transit: 7–14 business days. |
| In transit | The carrier is moving the parcel (shown on the carrier’s tracking page) | Nothing; quiet days between scans are normal, especially across borders. |
| Out for delivery | The parcel is with the local delivery driver | Make sure someone can receive it or that it can be left safely. |
| Delivered | The carrier reports the parcel as delivered | If you cannot find it, see “Marked delivered but not here” below. |
| Delivery exception | The carrier could not deliver, for example an address problem or nobody home for a signature | Check the carrier’s notice and email us with your order number. |
| Cancelled | The order was cancelled, usually at your request within 24 hours | Your refund is processed as described in our Refund Policy. |
| Refunded | A refund has been issued for all or part of the order | Allow your bank or payment provider time to show it. |
How long each stage usually takes
Most of the waiting happens in two stages. First, processing: 1–3 business days for us to embroider and pack your order. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays. Second, transit: usually 7–14 business days from shipping to delivery in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Shipping is free to all four countries.
| Ordered | Ships (1–3 business days later) | Typical delivery window |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | Tuesday to Thursday | 7–14 business days after shipping |
| Friday | Monday to Wednesday | 7–14 business days after shipping |
| Saturday or Sunday | Tuesday to Thursday (processing starts Monday) | 7–14 business days after shipping |
Reading carrier tracking
If your shipping email includes a tracking number, the carrier’s own page shows the most detailed picture. Some things that often worry people but are normal:
- “Label created” for a day or two. The label is printed when the parcel is packed; the first scan comes when the carrier collects it.
- No updates for several days. Parcels travel between facilities without being scanned, especially on long routes and international journeys.
- Customs or import scans. Parcels to Canada, Australia and New Zealand pass through the destination country’s customs; this can add a pause.
- Hand-over to a local postal service. On international parcels the tracking may switch to the destination country’s postal service partway through.
If your parcel seems late
- Check the date of your shipping email and count 7–14 business days from then.
- If a tracking link is included, check the latest event and any delivery notice.
- Look around the delivery address: porch, mailroom, reception, neighbours, a side door or garage.
- If the window has passed and you still have nothing, email [email protected] with your order number.
We will look into it with the carrier, keep you updated and help you reach a solution, which may be a remake and resend or a refund depending on what we find. See Shipping & Delivery for the full delivery policy.
Marked delivered but not here
Carriers sometimes scan a parcel as delivered shortly before it actually arrives, or leave it with a neighbour or in a parcel locker. Give it one more day, ask neighbours and the building office, and check for a carrier card. If it still has not appeared, email us with your order number and the address it was meant for. Please do this soon, while the details are fresh with the carrier.
Address problems and returned parcels
A missing apartment number or a mistyped postal code is the most common reason a parcel shows a delivery exception. If the carrier leaves a notice, follow its instructions for redelivery or collection where you can, and email us with your order number so we know. If a parcel is returned to us because it could not be delivered, we contact you to arrange the next step. Please check the address in your confirmation email right after ordering: within the first 24 hours we can still correct it for free.
Tracking a gift for a date
If your order is for a birthday, Mother’s Day or a new-baby visit, note three dates when you order: the day the 24-hour change window closes, the latest day the order should ship (3 business days after ordering), and the latest typical delivery day (14 business days after shipping). If the shipping email has not arrived by the second date, email us and we will check on your order. We cannot guarantee delivery by a date, but we will always tell you honestly where your order is.
Questions about tracking
Why does the form say it cannot find my order?
The order number and email must match exactly what was used at checkout. Check for a typo in the email address, try without spaces, and make sure you are using the order number, not a payment reference. If it still fails, email us.
My order has been “Processing” for two days. Is that normal?
Yes. Processing takes 1–3 business days because each piece is embroidered to order. Weekends and US public holidays do not count as business days.
There is no tracking number in my shipping email.
Not every carrier service provides a tracking number. Your order status on this page still shows when the parcel left us, and the delivery estimate is the same: 7–14 business days after shipping.
Can I collect my order instead?
No. We do not offer collection; every order is delivered, free, to an address in the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
The tracking shows a customs fee request.
Fees on international parcels depend on the destination country’s rules. Email us before paying or refusing the parcel and we will help you decide what to do.
Can I see my order details without an account?
Yes. The form at the top of this page works for guest orders too: it only needs the order number and the email address from checkout. It shows the items, the status and the personalisation you typed.
I ordered several things on different days. Will they be combined?
Separate orders are made and shipped separately, each with its own shipping email and its own free shipping. Track each order with its own number.
Who do I contact, you or the carrier?
Start with us. We can see your order, contact the carrier on your behalf and explain the options. You are of course free to check the carrier’s tracking page at any time.
Orders with several items
If you ordered several pieces, we aim to send them together. Occasionally items may travel in more than one parcel, each with its own shipping email. If your status shows completed but only part of the order has arrived, check for a second shipping email and email us if anything is missing.
Gifts shipped to someone else
When an order goes straight to the recipient, the shipping email still goes to the buyer, not to the recipient. If you want to tell Grandma when to expect her parcel, forward her the expected window rather than the order email if you would like to keep the price private.
Changing an order you are tracking
Changes are possible within 24 hours of ordering — see Cancel or Change an Order. Once the status shows the parcel has shipped, the address cannot be changed by us; the carrier’s own redirection options, where available, are the only route, and we are happy to help you with them.
After delivery
Once your order arrives, check every piece and the embroidery against your confirmation email. If something is wrong, email us with a photo; if it does not fit, you have 60 days from delivery to return or exchange it with a free return label. Details: Returns & Exchanges.
Keeping your order details safe
Your order number and email together show your order details, including the names you asked us to embroider. Share them only with people you trust. We will never ask for your password or payment details to look up an order.
